Where it all comes from

Paja Instruments was born from a lifelong obsession with two things: sound and understanding how things work.

With over 25 years of playing in bands and working with countless guitars, amps, pedals and pickups, one thing became clear — tone isn’t just a feature. It’s a feeling. And once you know it, you chase it.

At the same time, there has always been another side: the need to take things apart and figure them out. While others built with Lego, I was digging through my father’s boxes of electronic components, soldering things together just to see what would happen. Being an electrician’s son leaves a mark — curiosity becomes second nature.

Long before I could play a full song, I had already taken my first guitar apart.

We believe good gear should stay in use for a long time.

Paja Instruments products are built in small batches with a focus on durability, repairability, and long-term usability whenever possible.

Rather than treating imperfect units as waste, prototype builds, Workshop Finds, B-Stock items, and experimental products may be restored, reused, repaired, or offered at reduced prices.

Modern materials and lead-free solder are used whenever reasonably possible.

No mass production. No unnecessary excess. Just carefully built tools meant to be played.

No shortcuts. No empty promises.

What we say, we do.

And we’re always improving — refining, learning, pushing further.
