Our goal is always to provide high-quality products, honest craftsmanship, and a positive customer experience.
1. Products
Paja Instruments specializes in custom and small-batch guitar pickups and related products.
Due to the handcrafted and small-batch nature of certain products and components, minor cosmetic, material, or finish variations may occur between production runs.
Customers seeking maximum visual or material consistency between multiple pickups are encouraged to order matching sets together whenever possible.
2. Product Images & Descriptions
Images, renders, previews, builder graphics, and product descriptions are intended as general visual and informational references only.
Final products may differ slightly in appearance, color, texture, finish, or material characteristics depending on production methods, suppliers, display settings, and component availability.
3. Materials & Components
We aim to use high-quality and responsibly sourced materials and components whenever possible.
However, we cannot guarantee or verify the complete origin, manufacturing conditions, or sourcing practices of every third-party supplied material or component.
Certain materials, finishes, colors, textures, or 3D-printed components may vary slightly between suppliers, batches, or production runs.
4. Pricing
Product pricing is based on the selected configuration, components, customization options, manufacturing requirements, and shipping destination.
Due to the custom-built nature of our products, prices may change over time based on component availability, supplier pricing, material costs, manufacturing complexity, shipping costs, currency fluctuations, or other production-related factors.
Certain premium, limited-availability, or specialty components may carry additional pricing due to sourcing, inventory, or manufacturing considerations.
Previously ordered configurations may not retain identical pricing in future orders.
All prices displayed at checkout are final and confirmed at the time of purchase.
5. Orders & Payments
Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation.
Payments are securely handled by trusted third-party payment providers. Paja Instruments does not store full payment card information.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products and limited component availability, selected parts and materials may be reserved temporarily after an order is placed. If payment is not completed within the reservation period, reserved inventory may be released back into stock and availability cannot be guaranteed.
Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website where the payment was made.

6. Order Modifications & Cancellations
Customers are encouraged to review all specifications carefully before placing an order.
Due to the custom-built and handcrafted nature of our products, order modifications, cancellations, or configuration changes may not always be possible once production, winding, assembly, or component preparation has begun.
If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact Paja Instruments as soon as possible after placing the order.
In certain situations, alternative components, updated lead times, partial refunds, or other reasonable solutions may be offered when appropriate.
7. SC & HB Builder Systems
The SC Builder and HB Builder systems are continuously developed and improved to provide realistic and manufacturable pickup configurations.
While we actively correct bugs, limitations, and inconsistencies, unexpected configurations or technical edge cases may occasionally occur.
Paja Instruments reserves the right to make minor technical or structural adjustments necessary for manufacturability, reliability, compatibility, or functional integrity.
We greatly appreciate customer feedback regarding bugs, inconsistencies, unclear behavior, or unexpected builder functionality.
The SC Builder and HB Builder systems are designed primarily for desktop and laptop use to provide the most complete configuration experience and visual accuracy.
While the builders may function on certain smaller devices, large displays and modern desktop-class browsers are recommended for the best overall user experience.
8. Production & Shipping
Most orders are typically built within approximately 1โ5 business days before shipping.
Build and processing times may vary depending on order volume, custom specifications, material availability, technical issues, unforeseen circumstances, or other production-related factors.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination region and order quantity.
Domestic bundle orders may qualify for reduced shipping rates or free shipping depending on order size.
International shipping rates may use capped pricing structures for larger orders.
Shipping and tracking information will be provided once the order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.
Delivery times provided by shipping carriers are estimates and may vary.
9. Compatibility & Installation
Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their instrument, electronics, routing, dimensions, and hardware before ordering.
Professional installation is recommended when appropriate.
Paja Instruments is not responsible for damage, malfunction, or performance issues caused by improper installation, modification, or misuse.
10. Tone & Performance Disclaimer
Pickup tone, output, response, and performance may vary depending on the instrument, electronics, setup, amplification, strings, playing style, and other external factors.
Any measurement data, analysis tools, reference values, demonstrations, or Tone Lab information are provided for informational and comparative purposes only.
They are not guarantees of identical real-world tone or user experience.
11. Returns & Issues
Due to the custom and built-to-order nature of many products, standard returns may not always apply.
Custom pickup configurations may not qualify for standard return rights once production, winding, assembly, or component preparation has begun.
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers should contact Paja Instruments as soon as possible.
Original products must be returned before replacements, refunds, warranty resolutions, or other return-related actions can be processed.
Return shipping instructions will be provided when applicable.
12. International Orders
International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, taxes, or local charges required by their country.
13. Limitation of Liability
Paja Instruments shall not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use, installation, modification, or misuse of products purchased from this website.
14. Warranty
Paja Instruments products are covered by a 2-year limited craftsmanship warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear
- Cosmetic aging
- Improper installation
- Accidental damage
- Modifications
- Misuse
- Tone preference or subjective tonal expectations
Workshop Finds, B-Stock, prototype units, experimental builds, and other discounted special items may be sold with limited or modified warranty coverage.
Unless otherwise stated, Workshop Finds and B-Stock products are covered by a limited 30-day functional warranty only.
If you experience an issue, please contact Paja Instruments and include photos and order information whenever possible.
We will work with you to determine the best solution based on the specific circumstances.
